Job Description:
Advertiser Perceptions is seeking an Account Executive to join our Media Consulting team based in Manhattan. Primary responsibilities include working with the consulting team to increase sales of syndicated and custom research through prospecting, account management, proposal creation, sales presentation development and closing sales opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying prospective clients and generating sales meetings
- Partnering with members of the sales team to close sales opportunities
- Creating sales presentations and proposals
- Ensuring all sales materials are organized in a timely manner
- Scheduling meetings with clients and prospects
- Maintaining and updating contact database
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of prior experience in Media, Sales or Marketing/Advertising. Including ad agencies, advertisers, TV, online, digital media, magazines, etc.
- A passion for sales and media and a history of achievement and success
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop rapport and relationships within the organization, and most importantly, with customers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- College Degree
